The following information is collected: Full name, email and contact number. This information will also be used for the purposes of record keeping by ourselves.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

This will be used to ensure your goods arrive safely to you and if we need to contact you regarding an order. Records will be kept of transactions made.

Marketing e-mails and/or newsletters

You will only receive marketing newsletters from The Organic Vikings if you have explicitly signed up for this service. This consent can be withdrawn at any time through either contacting ourselves or unsubscribing from the e-mails (this function can be found at the bottom of the newsletter e-mail). We may occasionally incentivize subscription to our newsletter via giveaways, discounts or prizes.

You may receive abandoned cart e-mails as a follow up if you have provided your e-mail and attempted to pursue ordering goods from ourselves. This will only consist of 1 follow up e-mail based on the abandoned cart and information provided during this time, under the lawful basis of legitimate interests.

The Organic Vikings will at no point sell or give your information to a 3rd party, at all times you retain the right to removal of data and to opt out of any marketing.

If you opt out of marketing, we will use your data for order processing purposes ONLY.

In the extremely unlikely event that data is breached, we will focus on containment and recovery, assess the risks, notify yourself of any breach and both evaluate and respond to the situation.
